This year, the 25th anniversary edition of the International Exhibition for Glass Products, Manufacturing, Processing and Finishing Technology, Mir Stekla 2024, is held at the same time with the RosBuild 2024 International Exhibition for Building and Finishing Materials and Technologies within Russian Construction Week 2024.

For a quarter of a century, Mir Stekla has maintained its position as the largest networking platform of the glass industry in Russia and Eastern Europe. It is associated with the revival of the best traditions of glass production, promotion of new technologies, advanced equipment and tools for glass production and processing to the Russian market.

This year, Mir Stekla once again brings together manufacturers and suppliers of equipment for the glass industry, glass manufacturers and processors, manufacturers of windows and double-glazed windows, translucent constructions, glass containers, architects, designers, planners, and consumers of glass products from different industries.

Show highlights

For the first time, Mir Stekla will offer technological tours around the showcase of leading Chinese manufacturers. Accompanied by Glass Institute experts Stanislav Chesnokov and Andrey Oreshin, visitors will get acquainted with leading Chinese companies, their glass products, components and tools as well as learn about the latest technological solutions. The experts will detail the specialisation of Chinese manufacturers, the features and advantages of the presented products, and will help to establish contacts.

In total, more than 90 Chinese companies, including leading manufacturers of equipment and components, will present their products and services at Mir Stekla 2024: Foshan Shunde Zhengyi Glass Machinery Co., Ltd., Fujian Baineng CNC Equipment Co., Ltd., Green Vine Machinery, Hi-tech Hardware Industrial Co., Ltd., Qinhuangdao Green Star Mirror Co., Ltd., etc.  

The Chinese showcase will demonstrate deep glass processing equipment and glass machine solutions, laser engraving machines, automatic and intelligent glass machines, glass window and door hardware, mirrors, glass and much more.

Conference programme

The events of the conference programme of Russian Construction Week 2024 and Mir Stekla 2024 will touch upon the industry’s most relevant problems. 

EXPOCENTRE AO will hold the Russian Glass Forum on February 27. Its speakers will talk about modern glass plants, the role of state regulation in supporting the glass industry, the demands of the domestic and foreign markets, the industry's human resources, and the use of new technologies from AI to 5G in production.

The first Russian offline show battle of new buildings between the finalists of the main nomination of TOP Residential Complex 2024 will take place on February 27. The event is organised by the National Association of Home Builders, ERZ.RF, and EXPOCENTRE AO.   

Each finalist will give a show presentation of their residential complex. The winners in the main TOP Residential Complex category will be announced the next day during the award ceremony.

On February 27, the National Association of Manufacturers of Building Materials, Products and Structures, EL-Committee of the National Association of Manufacturers of Building Materials, Products and Structures, the National Association of Builders (NOSTROY), the Builders of Russia Union, ERZ.RF, and EXPOCENTRE AO will hold an event devoted to combating counterfeiting of building materials and products. 

ABOK and EXPOCENTRE AO will organise a panel on environmental requirements for real estate objects. A workshop on major challenges for the building dismantling and recycling industry will be held by the National Association of Manufacturers of Building Materials, Products and Structures, ERZ.RF, and EXPOCENTRE AO.

The 6th Forum on Translucent Structures. Windows, Facades, Doors. Interior Solutions 2024 will take place on February 28. It is organised by the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (the Committee on Entrepreneurship in the Construction Sector of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry), the Russian Union of Designers, the National Association of Construction Industry Participants (NOSI), ERZ.RF, and EXPOCENTRE AO.

The forum participants will talk about the improvement of the regulatory and technical base as a way to develop the industry, modern technical solutions for project implementation, and introduction of modern and innovative technologies and materials in the regulatory and technical documentation. The speakers will present real cases from architects actively using translucent structures and discuss the challenges and difficulties faced by design companies in implementing ambitious projects and ideas of architects, fire safety in the use of translucent structures, and other topics.

The important events of February 28 will be the 9th Russian Meeting on the Development of Housing Construction in the Russian Federation and an award ceremony of the Top Residential Complex Contest, organised by the National Association of Home Builders, ERZ.RF, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (the Committee on Entrepreneurship in the Construction Sector of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry), and EXPOCENTRE AO.  

The discussion will focus on the development of housing construction in Russia, stimulation of investment activity in the sphere of housing construction, and issues of sustainable development of building materials production. Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of Russia Irek Faizullin, Chair at the State Duma Committee on Construction, Housing and Utilities Services Sergey Pakhomov, Head of the  Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography (Rosreestr) Oleg Skufinsky, and other important guests and industry experts have been invited to participate in the meeting.

The Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (the Committee on Entrepreneurship in the Construction Sector of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry), the Russian Union of Designers, the National Association of Construction Industry Participants (NOSI), ERZ.RF, and EXPOCENTRE AO will organise the 7th Conference on Low House Russia 2024. The conference will include thematic sessions devoted to low-rise construction as a priority type of housing construction, management of common property of low-rise residential complexes, the procedure for transferring common property to residential property owners, objective ranking of property values in settlements of different economic classes, architectural appearance of low-rise development, modern construction technologies, materials and engineering systems to optimise costs and reduce construction time, and other topics.

On February 29 and March1, the participants of different panels will discuss topics important for the development of the construction and glass industries: architecture, facade solutions and facade illumination, apartment terraces on ground floors, attics, view terraces and simple balconies – a trend or fashionable post-Covid surge, finishing, decoration, illumination and navigation in entrances and entrance groups of residential complexes, 10 rules of a modern residential complex in 2024, managing the customer loyalty index, and public spaces of apartment buildings outsides of entrance groups. The events are organised by the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (the Committee on Entrepreneurship in the Construction Sector of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry), ERZ.RF, the Development School, and EXPOCENTRE AO. 

The minimum age limit for attending Mir Stekla 2024 is 12.
