02 / 03 / 2023

Mir Stekla 2023 is an extremely busy exhibition, with a high level of activity at exhibitors’ stands. At the same time, industry professionals have time to attend two or three events held as part of the exhibition’s conference programme. Everyone understands that they need to make the most of this chance to meet face-to-face at the same venue not only with leading industry players, but also with representatives of government departments and ministries.

We are pleased to note that companies that are long-time friends of the exhibition have come to Mir Stekla this year, as well as new exhibitors from friendly countries who are ready to replace the Western European companies that have left.

YTA celebrates its anniversary with friends and partners at Mir Stekla

YTA, a market leader in the distribution of glass processing equipment, tools and spare parts, is celebrating 20 years of success this year. To celebrate the occasion, visitors were in for many surprises at the company’s stand. However, most of the professionals did not come to the company’s stand because of surprises, but because they wanted to learn about the latest machining facilities.

Visitors to the YTA stand during the exhibition had the opportunity to meet the manufacturer of insulated glazing lines, Tenon, as well as representatives of the glass tempering furnace manufacturer North Glass. The professionals were also interested in the Intermac Master One machining centre, which was shown in detail on a large screen. Every visitor was able to get a good deal on the machine and buy the tool directly at the exhibition.

“The Mir Stekla exhibition is very important to us, we have been exhibiting here for the entire 20 years that the company has existed,” told Darya Zhmak, Head of YTA Marketing Department. “Glass is by far our company’s leading business, but we also supply equipment for the furniture, stone processing and laminated glass industries. We have customers in all of these industries, and they come to Mir Stekla to see our innovations.

Our anniversary is not until autumn, but we have already started preparing for it. And the Mir Stekla exhibition is the first important event that opens our anniversary year. All the days of the exhibition, we had meetings with our regular customers, but there were also those who are not yet familiar with us. The world does not stand still, and new companies are appearing who want to start a business in the glass industry. We were happy to advise them and tell them what it takes to get off to a successful start and grow into a strong large company.

We have all the possibilities for the client to scale up their business. We assemble a team of like-minded people, with many of our clients we have more than just a business relationship, they are our friends, whom we regularly take to overseas production facilities, showing them how the equipment works. We work throughout Russia and the CIS countries, we sell premium segment equipment and tools, and our suppliers are located in Italy, Israel, and China.

As the company continues to grow, our main objective is to demonstrate and offer new, modern equipment that will be in demand on the market, so that our partners can grow with us.

We congratulate Mir Stekla’s long-time partner and friend on its anniversary and wish it further growth and prosperity!

Unique production technology of glass moulds at the stand of Changshu Jianhua Mould Technology (China)

Changshu Jianhua Mould Technology Co. LTD has been designing and manufacturing glass moulds for over 45 years. The company exports more than 80% of its products to more than 60 countries on five continents. The company entered the Russian market only 18 months ago. Changshu Jianhua Mould Technology currently works with all major Russian glass factories.

Changshu Jianhua Mould Technology has two in-house automatic foundries for iron and bronze, and two robotised plants for production of glass moulds. Each mold kit consists of 13 parts. Jianhua Mould’s own foundries produce iron and bronze castings using the latest technology for 12,000 moulds and 14,000 neck rings per month. The company has all the necessary casting specifications to world standards.

Company representative Dmitry Zernov emphasised competitive advantage of Jianhua Mould,

Our company is the world’s second largest manufacturer and the number one company in China and Asia. We manufacture the entire range of products from our own cast iron. The company is autonomous and fully responsible for its products from design documentation of glass moulds, casting, production, warranty, etc. In essence, we provide a complete service for any glassware manufacturer. Our company is a world leader in innovation and is one of the world leaders in the introduction of innovative technology in the production of moulds.

Changshu Jianhua Mould Technology has more than 120 patents for unique inventions. The company’s stand at Mir Stekla 2023 showcases several innovative trends:

—laser cladding of moulds and neck rings

—introduction of NNPB plunger lines.

Unlike plasma cladding, laser cladding is a completely different technology. Only robots are used, and cladding is done without heating the moulds and subsequent firing of the moulds. Laser cladding eliminates metal splitting and cracking, and the moulds do not need to be heated. It saves nickel powder, which takes up a good chunk of the budget.

The company uses the most advanced high-speed spraying technology for plunger cladding. This increases NNPB plunger life and burnout. Independently of other developers, Changshu Jianhua Mould Technology has been using this technology since 2013.

The company’s technology has already been used by large glassworks located in Ulyanovsk, Mozhga, Novosibirsk, Tyumen, Novocherkassk, and other regions. The company’s unique capabilities were also appreciated by visitors to the Mir Stekla exhibition.

BeLEva glass laminating furnaces appreciated by visitors

SORTMETINVEST, a Belarusian company, regularly takes part in the Mir Stekla exhibition. This year, the Belarusian manufacturers introduced visitors to a range of high-performance equipment including the LAM 2032-2P glass laminating furnace under the BeLEva brand.

At the BeLEva stand, the company’s specialists spoke in detail about the advantages of the furnace, whose work table is designed for a maximum load of 400kg. A large number of possible options increases the speed of lamination without compromising the quality of the product.

“The experienced specialists of our company will always help in choosing the type of film and its lamination technology, advise on the cost, timing and delivery methods,” said the company’s representatives, “most companies in Belarus work with us in the field of laminate production. Our customers value us for quality, closeness of our warehouse to the manufacturer, which reduces transportation costs, for flexible pricing policy, and, of course, for professional sales support. We have strong trade relations with companies from China and rational logistics, which allows us to offer our customers profitable supplies from China of many other products at competitive prices.”

Since 2016, the company has been supplying glassworks materials and glass processing equipment from China: materials, tools, equipment and EVA/PVB film, silkscreen materials, glass paints and varnishes, vacuum bags for triplex furnaces. In addition to materials, the company provides customers with engineering solutions for glass processing.
