Companies from several regions presented their products at group stands organised with the assistance of the regional Entrepreneurship Support Fund and Export Support Centre. Three companies - FMGroup, Astek Group and VDS GROUP - demonstrated their products and technologies at the stand of the Penza region. Stand No.FH050.

As Elena Popova, a specialist from the Centre for Export Support of the Penza region, told us, this was the first time that the centre organised a stand for Penza companies at the Mir Stekla exhibition: "The decision to help Penza equipment manufacturers to show their capabilities at the industry exhibition was not a coincidence. In the current economic situation it is necessary to help the business. That is why the main task of the Mir Stekla exhibition was to promote equipment and tools for glass processing made in the Penza region, and to find potential foreign partners. Our centre paid for the rental of the exhibition space, the registration fee and the construction of the stand, where three companies are represented".

FMGroup has been in the Russian market for over 20 years and manufactures CNC plasma metal cutting machines, automated glass sandblasting machines, glass gravity milling furnaces, glass breaking tables and much more.

VDS GROUP, a company specialising in tools for sanding, cutting, transferring and gluing glass, for edging glass, making facets and making stained glass windows, has introduced its wheels for European processing, faceting, as well as various glass cutting tools.

Another company represented at the group stand of the Penza region - Astek Group specialises in the manufacture and supply of sandblasting machines for patterning glass and mirrors, installations for frosted glass, machines for straight or curved edging, ovens for milling and fusing, and ovens for triplex. Olga Datskova, manager of Astek Group, mentioned that the company's furnaces for bent glass facades (kitchen and showcases) and the glass for aquariums were of great interest among the visitors: "This year, there were many manufacturers who were interested in our equipment that allows producing patterned glass and mirrors. Another area that is actively developing is mirror paintings and mirror ceilings. We have already had several productive meetings with potential partners from Sochi, Republic of Belarus and Kazakhstan”.
