Experts are preparing for the anniversary of Mir Stekla
EXPOCENTRE hosted the networking Conference on Architectural Glass Structures in Modern Real Estate Development. The event was organised by EXPOCENTRE AO and MG Komsomolskaya Pravda, and was dedicated to the upcoming 25th anniversary edition of the Mir Stekla exhibition.
The industry’s leaders made presentations and exchanged views on the application of glass in architecture and modern glass production technologies.
During the conference, experts discussed the growing demand for sheet glass from developers, niche glass products in housing construction, increasing the area of facade glazing in modern architecture, energy efficiency of modern windows, and financial tools to support business. The official part of the event was organically complemented by informal networking of like-minded people. The participants and visitors included representatives of Salavatsteklo, Modern Glass, SIEGENIA, Stankevich.Design, VIPKOMPLEKT, Mosinzhproekt, Shueco, Reynaers Rus, RGC, Nesushchie Sistemy, Parametric Building Systems, Bel Development, and others.
There was also a presentation of Mir Stekla 2024, which will be held from 27 February to 1 March within Russian Construction Week alongside the RosBuild 2024 international exhibition of construction and finishing materials and technologies and the Building the Future of Russia Together forum for the development of housing construction and development. The upcoming Mir Stekla 2024 has already grown significantly in size and will occupy two pavilions at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds. Another feature of the show is an increase in the number of foreign exhibitors who will demonstrate new technological solutions for the glass industry and innovative types of glass. The central topic of the conference programme in 2024 will be glass in real estate development, which will create conditions for a dialogue between glass manufacturers and developers.
