At the Town-Planning Advisory Council session Governor of Saint Petersburg Valentina I. Matvienko said about an intention to construct a float glass manufacturing factory in the region. According to Mrs. Matvienko, negotiations with investors were already in progress.
This information came pursuant to LSR Group General Director Alexander Vakhmistrov's words. Mr. Vakhmistrov said that in Saint Petersburg they did not produce two kinds of construction components — float glass and thermal insulation materials, so the above components were to be imported from other regions.
