Mir Stekla exhibition team visits Vitrum 2017 show in Milan

Milan (Italy) played host to the Vitrum 2017 international trade show of the glass processing industry on October 3-6.

The Mir Stekla exhibition team took part in the event significant for the world glass processing industry. The show’s organizer, the Gimav Association of Italian Manufacturers and Suppliers of Machinery, Equipment and Special Products for Glass Processing, decided to officially support the Mir Stekla 2018 project organized by Expocentre. It proves that the Russian market remains attractive to Western companies.

While attending the trade show, the delegation discussed cooperation with long-standing partners from Germany, Italy, Austria, India, and China and held a series of successful negotiations with foreign companies which had not participated in Mir Stekla before.

The negotiations with international glass industry associations were fruitful: AIHV, International Commission of Glass, NGA, ATIV, China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association, Chinese Ceramic Society pledged support for Mir Stekla and said they would take an active part in supporting events of the 2018 exhibition.

The Expocentre delegation to Vitrum 2017 accomplished the mission to demonstrate a growing potential of the Russian market to foreign companies which are in constant pursuit for best development opportunities, and drew attention of the world glass industry players to the importance of their participation in the leading annual event of the Russian glass processing industry, the Mir Stekla exhibition.
