Kami Complect, JSC is a permanent participant in the prestigious Mir Stekla Exhibition increasing its presence every year.
The size of its display at the Exhibition has grown from 6 to 471 sq. m in three years. Equipment they put on display weighs over 27 tons. That alone presents quite a challenge for us putting our stand together.
I would like to use this opportunity and praise very professional performance of the Exhibition Management Team and its leader Oleg Pashkin. It is his dedication, sensitivity to our needs and quick response that was the deciding factors in helping us efficiently prepare and run the event.
Mir Stekla’2008 Exhibition received enthusiastic acclaim of our Western counterparts who noted good attendance by experts of the Industry showing real interest in equipment on display.

Mir Stekla’2008 is now ended. We view glass as a material with ever growing possibilities of use. We targeted the Exhibition for participation from the very start, but waited for our production facilities to be operational. And this year we put our plan in action: we commissioned glass production at our company and made it public at Mir Stekla’2008. We scored many positive emotions from our visitors. That prompted many new ideas for expansion. It is gratifying to know that there are people to learn from and market to grow into in our line of business. We are already planning how we will participate in the next year’s show.

That is a typical start of a summer for the Steklocentr Company. Preparation for moving into the Mir Stekla Exhibition. A lot to fit in into a short time to make sure we look better than competitors do. We must say the way things are organized by the hosts assisting exhibitors by providing handling transport, professionalism of the staff – all at European standard.

Salavatsteklo OAO
According to glass industry specialists, Mir Stekla’2008 ranked among the three largest exhibitions in Europe. With 396 companies participating, 158 of which were Russian, it reflected almost all segments of Russia’s rapidly developing glass market. The Exhibition was attended by thousands of domestic and overseas professional visitors interested in promoting the glass industry development. During the four days the top management and specialists of Salavatsteklo OAO met over 300 visitors that included existing partners, large regional glass processors, suppliers of raw materials and equipment. The company’s managers generated over 100 sales leads. Salavatsteklo OAO has participated in all 10 editions of Mir Stekla. To express their appreciation, the exhibition organizers gave us a medal for long-lasting participation. At Mir Stekla’2008 we were also awarded certificates for active participation; architectural merits of products, and a highly decorative stand design.

Spetsmash, JSC – one of the few Russian manufacturers of glass processing equipment. We were set up only a year and a half back and we have already taken part in two Mir Stekla Exhibitions. We regard that event a very popular one with visitors yielding good results. As a result of our participation in the last show we received a portfolio of orders enough for half year’s work load. The Exhibition was very well organized. Everything was carefully thought through, up to “route charts” for vehicles. Banners on corporate sites were a very good idea. The Management Team of Expocentre in charge of the Show was very professional.
Special thanks to the Organizers for the splendid opening reception. It was a good reward for the hard day’s work. Good atmosphere. Informal. Had a chance to relax and develop new business contacts. We view the Mir Stekla Exhibition as the most effective and the key event for enterprises connected with production and processing of glass. We are already putting our thoughts into our presence at the next year’s Show.

As a young employee of Glaze Chem Company I would like to share with you my impressions of the 10th International Exhibition Mir Stekla’2008. Prior to official opening Russian folk and ballet dance groups entertained guests with their performance. Then General Director of the Fairgrounds gave a speech and symbolic cutting of the red ribbon followed. After the first day of the Event participants were invited for an evening boat trip along the Moskva River.
Less official, “ties off” atmosphere prevailed from then on. Representatives of different countries involved directly or indirectly with the glass industry continued to mix as one family of glass industry people. The following days went on in the same cordial business atmosphere where we continued to learn and share new opportunities in the glass industry area. Heartiest thanks are in order to the Organizers for the opportunity to meet for such a great number of supporters of successful development of the glass industry in Russia.

Participation in Mir Stekla’ 2008 was a particular gala happening for the Far Eastern Economic Company. It was a giant step towards strengthening business relations with major companies in Russia, CIS and a useful channel of spreading information on the Russian glass industry and promoting new products and best technological solutions. In four days of hectic work on the grounds representatives of our company achieved most goals they wanted to achieve. The primary one was to conclude profitable contracts, sourcing new orders. Visitors to our stand emphasized high quality of exhibits in the glass line and attractive terms of cooperation.
I would like to thank the Organizers for the opportunity to meet such a wide group of business prospects and clients interested in the development of the Glass Industry in Russia!

SUN Company
The 10th jubilee exhibition Mir Stekla’2008 opened on 9th June. The Show is very large in area (takes up two largest pavilions of Expocentre) and geographic spread of exhibitors. Exhibitors from Russia, Germany, Italy, UK, Benelux countries, USA, China and others are participating this year. There are a total of over 300 participants. It is for the first time that SUN is taking part in such an event.
We display NEO-UV-LED Evolution printer at our stand, as well as sample prints. Without exaggeration there is a great interest towards our equipment! And it is not accidental as potential for real application of the printer is obvious. UV-LED Evolution is an absolute novelty for the glass market.
It should be noted that even the first day of the Show, which is normally slack, was very successful for SUN. We made a wide range of contacts; preliminary agreement was reached to sell two printers.
